In partnership with the global Fetal Medicine Foundation, we provide American healthcare providers with knowledge regarding pioneering screening algorithms and world-class educational programs. By upholding the gold standard in clinical competency for first-trimester screening for fetal aneuploidy, birth defects and early preeclampsia, we ensure that every patient receives the highest level of expert prenatal care.
System Update & Remodeling Notice
FMF USA is currently undergoing a comprehensive remodeling of our digital platform. This initiative is being conducted in conjunction with major upgrades to the World Fetal Medicine Foundation website to ensure an updated, unified, world-class experience for all users.
What does this mean for USA Providers:
Already a member? You may still submit images for the annual quality assurance & audit on our old platform as in past years, so your clinical competency evaluation does not expire. Data analysis is no longer included in the audit process.
Once the website is updated:
- Standardized Excellence: To maintain the highest clinical standards, all providers will be required to complete the updated FMF Education Course and obtain a new Certificate of Completion.
- Image Submission Portal: Our streamlined system for quality assurance & image auditing will be fully operational by April 2026.
