Free Online Course:

This internet based course covers all the important aspects of first-trimester screening for chromosomal abnormalities, the diagnosis of major fetal defects and screening for preeclampsia.

The course is the compulsory first step for all sonographers and physicians wishing to obtain the FMF credentials in the measurement of nuchal translucency, as well as the additional optional markers: assessment of the nasal bone, measurement of the facial angle, assessment of ductus venosus flow, assessment of tricuspid flow and measurement of uterine artery pulsatility index.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Wright State University and The Fetal Medicine Foundation. This educational activity is awarded a maximum of 3 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should only claim credit for time that he/she spent in the activity.
